Samyang 8mm 1:2.8 UMC fish-eye is available in either a black or silver finish. Available in Canon M, Sony NEX (E-Mount), Samsung NX fit or Fujifilm X mount.
Another version of the lens is available, for video use,I believe black only. With declicked aperture ring, aperture expressed in T values. It’s the same lens.
Two different versions were made of this lens, the most recent being a little bit longer, heavier and optically different (one more lens in the scheme). There are also visible aesthetic differences, like in the focusing rings patterns.
Reality says this same lens is available in many other different names, depending on the country and on the importer the list is long and complicates things. ROKINON, BOWER, WALIMEX are only some of them.
