Fixed focus circular 180° fisheye lens, this is the first Fisheye Nikon designed and produced for the Nikon F system, in 1962, and the world’s first fisheye lens for 35mm photography to enter serial production. Its rear element protrudes till few mm from the film surface, so it requires locking up the mirror with the compatible reflex bodies, Nikon F, and it’s usable only with the non-photomic pentaprism or waist-level finder. A special external finder is provided to frame the image.
