This magnificent lens, this “Goliath Nikkor” surfaced in the web a few years ago, thanks to Fatali Lens Vault. As far as I can understand it is a fixed aperture cine lens made for 70mm format, it was used both as a taking lens and a projection lens for iMax immersive theatres. It’s based on 6mm f2.8 scheme, but not having the needs to be mounted on a reflex camera it can retain its 220° on a bigger image circle. That means a longer focal lenght.
