This nice and peculiar lens sports an official focal length of 14mm, and I’d like to test it to understand what kind of projection was adopted and what’s the actual diagonal coverage. Please note the very simple 2 elements fixed hood. In the hood collar design is visible the dial to control the turret filters. Same solution as Pentax 17mm K mount. Available filters are Skylight (SL) – LB-A – Y48 (Y2) – R60 (R)
This is the original lens that was then also produced in different finishes for Voigtlander and Rollei brands.
There was also a change of looks when Mamiya changed from M42 to proprietary bayonet, here is the CS version.
