This was an expensive and good lens for its time and is nowadays difficult to find. In Italian market Fujica cameras were mainly bought as alternative cameras from beginners and amateurs, who would not justify the high price for what was considered a “flagsip lens”.
Mechanically the lens is a little masterpiece, the internal filter changing is impressive. As complicated as smooth. It has an incorporated flower-shaped light hood (not removable), and the metal cap is a slip on type, identical to the previous M42 version.
The top-of-the-line AX-5 camera you see in my images is also a rare find.
